As the graduate assistant, I supported website maintenance, visual design, and email development to improve user engagement and streamline academic resource access. I combined technical writing, front-end development, and design skills to enhance usability and communication in a research-driven environment.
Key Contributions:
- Maintained and updated the Maguire Medical Library website, resolving user issues and improving site usability using WordPress, HTML, and CSS
- Designed website graphics, marketing assets, and email newsletters to enhance engagement and user experience across digital touchpoints
- Provided research and technical writing support for academic publications, ensuring clarity and accessibility of complex medical content
- Assisted with finding articles for research requests or inter-library loans

Using a standard template I created the monthly newsletter emails. This included utilizing basic HTML and creating the images for each newsletter.
I also created new announcements to utilize on the library website homepage. I also created standard announcements for university closures and holidays, as well as maintained them in the content management system.
